Being a Unicorn, Doe Deer noticed the lack of bright colored makeup that she gravitated to available on the market, so she began making her own. In 2008, her line of brilliant hued makeup was launched as Limecrime. The name was taken from her ebay account she created in 2004 in which she evoked her favorite color combined with a clever rhyme at the time.
